This ANSI accredited Technical Report describes design guidelines, parameters, and operational practices that should be used for industrial and commercial handling systems, robotic systems, or packaging machines for vacuum handling of filled corrugated or fibreboard containers. The Report also includes the Voluntary Guideline for Vacuum Equipment Handling of Corrugated Fibreboard as Annex A.
This Report covers information on areas that need to be considered when designing for robotic palletizing, some of the container related parameters and system dynamics which the suppliers and users should be aware of when specifying and providing a system, and design information for End of Arm Tooling (EOAT).
